1.  Log into your @alaska.edu account (your UA Google Apps account)
2.  Go to Google Calendars: http://www.google.com/calendar
3.  Click “v” next to ‘My Calendars” 
4.  Go to ‘Create New Calendar”
5.  Fill out ‘Create New Calendar’ Form
6.  Theoretically, someone could find this calendar on the web, so the name should not easily be identifiable.
7.  Don’t worry about filling out ‘Description’ or ‘Location’
8.  >>> IMPORTANT <<< Check the ‘Make the calendar public’ option under “Share this calendar with others” option
9.  Click “Create Calendar” (bottom of the page)
10.  You will get a warning that the calendar will be public. (One would likely have to search for your calendar by name.)
11.  When asked if you are sure, Click ‘Yes’.
12.  Find your calendar in the left column, it may take a few seconds.  Click the “v” next your calendar name.
13.  Go to ‘Calendar settings’ from the popup list and click.
14.  Once in ‘Calendar settings’, half way down the screen you will see ‘Embed this Calendar”
15.  Highlight the embed code with your mouse and copy (hold Ctrl button + c button)
16.  Go to your Blackboard course where you want to add calendar
17.  Go to your “Content Area” and click “Build Content”
18. Select “Item”
19.  Name Calendar
20.  Click the HTML button.
21.  Paste the embed code into the popup HTML Box and click, ‘Update’
22.  The box within the Content Information area should now appear yellow.
23.  Click ‘Submit’ (bottom the page)
